HOW CAN I HELP?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with our children and youth at FCNB!
Please take the time to complete the steps below

STEP 1
Submit Online Volunteer Application
The application is our way of getting to know you. It will ask you for some personal information that we must keep on record. Please know that this information will remain confidential. There will also be several questions for you to answer about your prior volunteer experience, testimony, and church involvement. This will take some time to complete.
Please answer all of the questions honestly and completely

STEP 2
Read our Policies & Procedures
Please read through our policies & procedures handbook so that you are aware of the expectations of a volunteer

STEP 3
Training Video & Assessment
After your volunteer application has been submitted and approved, we will email you a link to complete an
online training video & assessment

HOW CAN I HELP?

Help us create an environment where each person feels

welcome and comfortable at FCNB.

​

  • Café - Help serve in our Café and/or kitchen for services and special events.  Our volunteers all take  an online Safe Serve course and are prepared to serve with excellence.

  • Greeters - Create a welcoming and helpful experience to everyone attending FCNB at entrances and escort as needed for class locations, etc.

  • Connection Team - Answer questions and provide helpful information about FCNB.

  • Guest Services Desk - Answer questions, give directions and provide first time welcome gifts.  Help with sign-up for events, etc.

  • Parking Team - Help with directions to buildings and classes and securing a ride on golf carts.

  • Ushers - Assist the congregation during service with seating location, collecting offering, serving communion and providing helpful information as needed.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Help us be of service to those who are ill or elderly

and cannot do minor fixes in their home.

​

  • Minor repairs

  • Changing light bulbs

  • Cleaning

  • Yard work

  • Rearranging things

​

If you are handy and can minister to those who need it,

please contact the church office and we will put you in

touch with the leader of FIRST SERVE.
